Things that don't quite fit anywhere else, I store in the Miscellaneous section. You're welcome to use them, but please link back to Metanoia, and I'd appreciate it if you don't distribute them or claim them as your own.

Cursor

Here is a cursor featuring Sana and Akito that I've created; you are free to use them on websites or on your desktop as long as you give credit :).

Using a cursor in Internet Explorer

Insert this into your CSS Stylesheet:
cursor: url("URL OF CURSOR GOES HERE")

Using a cursor in your Desktop

I'm not quite sure if this works on all versions of Windows (I'm using an XP), or if it works on a Mac at all, so if anyone'd like to test it out for me, I'd be really grateful.

  1. Download the mouse and save it to My Documents (or wherever you'd like it to save)
  2. Go to your Start Menu and click Control Panel.
  3. In your CP, click the Mouse icon.
  4. You should see a window called Mouse Properties pop up. Go to the tab entitled Pointers.
  5. Browse My Documents (or wherever you saved the mouse) and navigate your way to the mouse.
  6. Once you've found it, double-click it and click OK to close Mouse Properties.

Colorbar

Here is a colorbar that you can use for LJ, forums, etc. You can change the text that comes with it to whatever you like, and you are free to use them anywhere as long as credit is given :).
