Technical
Metanoia was opened on December 24 2006 (Christmas Eve and also our lovely couple's famous middle birthday) and is hosted by the lovely Janita.
It runs on the love I have for my number one OTP (One True Pairing) Sana and Akito of the animanga Kodomo no Omocha written and drawn by the all-too-talented
Obana Miho. I felt a need to make a shrine to them, as I could not find any in English; and sadly, the ones that are in English gets no updates.
Since the pairing was so important to me, I asked myself, "Why not?" and got working.
Name
The name Metanoia, like my other site names, came from the trusty Saurus.
Since Akito and Sana changed each other in countless ways, I decided to type in change. I came upon the word conversion, but didn't like it all that much.
I did type in the word conversion next, and shazam; I came across what else but Metanoia. I loved the way it sounded, and the definition fit perfectly.

A fundamental change of character
To me, that summarizes and fits Akito and Sana's relationship to a tee.
